Slash Generation- Exhibition of Achievements of the Individual Projects showed a success by new graduates from College of Design (Department of Spatial Design, Commercial Design, Creative Product & Game Design, and Digital Media Design) at Chienkuo Technology University

New graduates from four of the departments at College of Design, including Department of Spatial Design, Department of Commercial Design, Department of Creative Product and Game Design and Department of Digital Media Design held the first graduation exhibition on April 23, 2019. The opening ceremony was hosted by Chairman Wu, Lien Hsing and President Chiang, Ching-Shan. Students were enthusiastically introducing their great works which took them over a year to accomplish; some of the manufactures representatives in design industry also attended the exhibition to congratulate the students and select the outstanding ones simultaneously.

CTU College of Design graduation exhibition in 2019 academic year displayed 10 sets of works from Department of Commercial Design, 32 sets from Department of Spatial Design, 17 sets from Department of Creative Product and Game Design, and 24 sets from Department of Digital Media Design. Meanwhile, alliance sister school, Lingnan Institute of Technology from Mainland China, cooperating from this year, also provided some works from Department of Environmental Art Design, which gave both Chinese and Taiwanese students a great chance to exchange ideas and learn from each other.

After the first exhibition on the campus, Slash Generation will furthermore attend Young Designers’ Exhibition at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall on May 3, A+ Creative Festival at Taichung Cultural Heritage Park on May 9, and Vision Get Wild Award at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center on May 15.

President Chiang mentioned that the main idea of Slash Generation is to encourage students to connect all the knowledge and experience that they have learned from school with their future goal. Wish all the graduates can bravely pursue their dreams and live without limits as if a great ship which is ready to set sail to explore a vast unknown.
