School campus in Chienkuo Technology University is rich in negative ions which is a good place to study and do research. We sincerely welcome you to visit!

Xitou Nature Educational Area in Nantou is known for fresh air, especially there is real-time EMS (Environmental Monitoring System) in the area. In sacred tree area, there are about 100 thousands of negative ions per cubic centimeters which is listed top one or two in Taiwan forests. Compared with only 500-1000 negative ions per cubic centimeters in ground area, the gap is considerably huge.

Many people know that Xietou is rich in negative ions, and many people in the community and parents also know that the campus of CTU has fresh air and many scenic sites. Yet, we haven't known that CTU is actually also a place full of negative ions. Recently, in the first scenic area of the campus, “Formosa Taiwan-an area of giant stone and water fountain”, is equipped with a "real-time detection system for negative ions", where around 8,000 to 12,000 of negative ions anions per cubic centimeters are detected which is pretty beneficial to health.
According to Asian Medical Journal, anion is recognized as vitamin in the air which can purify blood, adjust autonomic nervous system, and activate cells. If the capacity of negative ions is around 1,000 to 10,000 per cubic centimeters, it is helpful to human body; also if it is up to 10,000, it can strengthen immune system of human bodies.

On CTU's campus, there are many circular trails surrounded by plants as well as hundred-year-old astonishing trees and stones. For example, the first scenic area, “Formosa Taiwan-an area of giant stone and water fountain”; the second scenic area, the outstanding combination of industry, official and university-old Chinese banyan; the third scenic area, learning area of the pen and the sword for teachers and students- wishing bell. The beauty of school campus attracts local people and tourists every day. When tourists walk around the spot of “Formosa Taiwan”, they can see this device and knowing that how many negative ions they have inhaled.

Over ten years ago, deputy minister of Ministry of Education of Mainland China, Hao Ping, first came to CTU. He found that the landscape construction in CTU's campus is quite different from other universities he had visited before. He praised it as the best man-made landscape. Over the past decade or so, with the consistent hard work and management by the school board, CTU has successfully completed the amazing front facade system, and also created three wonderful scenic areas. Now the campus not only the air is very fresh, but is rich in negative ions. CTU campus is an ideal place for study and research. We sincerely look forward to your coming.
