CTU's exceptional performances in international invention contests over the past 7 year. Sincerely welcome you to join us and create a better future together!

Under the guidance of professors in each department, the students at CTU obtain lots of invention patents by doing special projects. The projects are outstanding in many international exhibitions of invention patents and competitions. CTU has become an important technology school for contributing invention patens in Taiwan.

In March 2010, with the great encouragement from Chairman Wu, CTU made its first attendance of The Invention & New Product Exposition of Archimedes in Russia. It won two gold medals and one silver medal. Also, it won one gold medal and two silver medals in 2010 OMC Asia Cup Hair and Beauty International Competition. These extraordinary performances base the foundation for students and teacher to join international invention competitions.

The students and professors of CTU has made excellence in many international invention competitions since 2010, such as The Invention & New Product Exposition of Archimedes, Russia; International Trade Fair Idea-Inventions-New-Products of Geneva, Switzerland ; International Trade Fair Idea-Inventions-New-Products of Nuremberg, Germany; The Invention & New Product Exposition of Pittsburgh, USA; Ukraine International Invention Show＆Technology Trade Show, Ukraine; Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition, Malaysia; Seoul International Invention Show, Korea.

By the end of December 2017, the accumulation of attending international invention competition and the number of prizes are continually multiplied by yearly basis. There are 857 prizes in total (including 325 gold medals, 267 silver medals, 123 bronze medals and 142 special awards).

* From March 2010, 13 prizes (4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, 2 bronze medals)
* In 2011, 54 prizes (25 gold medals, 19 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, 6 special awards)
* In 2012, 77 prizes (33 gold medals, 30 silver medals, 10 bronze medals, 4 special awards)
* In 2013, 131 prizes (56 gold medals, 43 silver medals, 14 bronze medals, 18 special awards)
* In 2014, 144 prizes (51 gold medals, 37 silver medals, 22 bronze medals, 34 special awards)
* In 2015, 190 prizes (62 gold medals, 66 silver medals, 30 bronze medals, 32 special awards)
* In 2016, 142 prizes (55 gold medals, 36 silver medals, 22 bronze medals, 29 special awards)
* In 2017, 106 prizes (49 gold medals, 29 silver medals, 9 bronze medals, 19 special awards)

According to President Farn-Shing Chen, CTU recently not only spurs students to transform their invention patents into products to both domestic and international competitions, we also aggressively encourage and promote those “products" into commercialization to the market. Hence, all the patentees, school, enterprise, society can be assured of the enjoyment of intellectual property achievements.
