Dr. Chiang, Ching-Shan will be on behalf of interim president of Chienkuo Technology University in 2018 academic year. He appreciated all faculty's collaboration, and he also put much effort to earn students and parents' recognition in order to help every department enroll students successfully. He hoped all colleagues can keep up the good work, make great efforts to teach, and take good care of each student to establish a good brand image. CTU can thus become a big family of students and teachers with one great heart.

In new academic year, Dr. Chiang proposed ten new prospects:

1. Implement educational quality assurance, and promote international certificate in departments.
2. Actively promote Higher Education Sprout Project in Ministry of Education.
3. Build featured curriculums for each department.
4. Promote publicity of higher education, optimize plans for assisting the disadvantaged.
5. Positive promotion of students’ off campus and overseas internship, encourage internship instead of on trial.
6. Fulfill the policy of energy conservation and carbon reduction and environmental protection and improvement measures.
7. Enter competitions so as to facilitate training, encourage winning prizes off campus to show extraordinary strength.
8. Execute all-out industry-university cooperation.
9. Actively promote to expand R&D results of technological innovation and transfer skills.
10. Zealously encourage students to study or exchange abroad, attract excellent foreign students to come to study.

Dr. Chiang said that in order to face the time of competition in internationalization of education, not only does a university have to build features and brand, all faculty also need to unite and cooperate. Thus, it can outstand through comparison and become a remarkable school. Dr. Chiang also emphasized that, due to fast improvement of AI technology and network application, school staff has to be equipped with advanced thinking, new teaching materials, and updated teaching methods to make students enter workplace successfully after graduation as well as become great talents. School can hence have great educational performance and gain affirmation and respect from society. With this well circulation, school can make sure to operate sustainably, and staff members can live and work in peace and contentment.
