Congratulations! Professor Chiang, Ching-Shan is promoted honorably to the 6th president in Chienkuo Technology University. Chairman Lien-Hsing Wu, ceremoniously arranged the inauguration. Administrative Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education Lin, Teng Chiao came to attend the ceremony.

The school president's inauguration of Professor Chiang, Ching-Shan was held on February 1, 2019 in the morning at Chienkuo Technology University. Chairman Wu, Lien Hsing enthusiastically welcomed the new president who was successfully educated by CTU along the way. Chairman Wu encouraged whole faculty to preserve CTU's fine tradition, insisting on their great educational features- “Professional”, “Competent”, “Dedicated” (3As). The intrinsic qualities are expected to strive to improve, and to dare to struggle. With constant motive power, may CTU shine its brand and cultivate more and more outstanding elites.

The inauguration began at 9:50 A.M. on February 1 at International Conference Hall (7F at Library and Humanities Building) Administrative Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education Lin, Teng Chiao, several high school and vocational high school principals and directors from strategic alliances, CEOs and representatives from industry-university cooperative programs as well as other guests all attended the celebration. President Chiang received the certificate of appointment from Chairman Wu, and former president, Doctor Chen, Farn-Shing , also came to the occasion for congratulation and encouraged the new president to carry forward the great responsibility. President Chiang said that CTU has been established fairly well with all the effort from former presidents and faculty. As low birth rate has had a great impact on the society and caused a new challenge, he believes that CTU will connect with industries more intensively under the supervision of school board. The school will actively promote the Three Local goals- Local Youth, Local Schooling, Local Employment, to assist students to be equipped with practical skills through cooperation with local industries. Health, Green Energy, and Automation Intelligence are the three core features for future development that need to be seriously focused on. With whole faculty's coherence, the school will show positive response to Industry 4.0 and the new era of AI.

Meanwhile, as facing global competition, President Chiang stated that CTU has already built internationalized school campus, and will continually recruit more international youth from overseas to enrich student body. He also encouraged students to participate dual degrees system and internship abroad to enhance international competitiveness.

President Chiang has doctoral degree in Education in Curriculum and Instruction College of Education in Florida International University. He has devoted himself to CTU for over 25 years, and he had acted as professor, director of the Division of Continuing Education, director of Student Affairs, vice president, professorial chair and CEO at 3As Development Headquarter in the past. He possesses solid experience in teaching and administration, and he knows school affairs very well. He has great confidence in leading a successful way in the harshly competitive educational environment.
